With profound sadness the family of Jeanette Jacqmin, 74, announces her peaceful passing after a short illness. She was an amazing sister and generous friend and will be greatly missed.
Jeanette will be fondly remembered by her siblings, Jim (Tina) and Karen (Todd); nephew and nieces, Dustin (Jaclyn), Kristin, and Megan (Jon); her three cats; along with many other dear family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Christl Jacqmin.
Jeanette served her community as a librarian for over 37 years. She was a member of Wequiock Presbyterian Church, where she previously held office as the Clerk of the Session. She spent her retirement in learning, attending German class and art lectures at St. Norbert College.
Her family would like to thank Dawn and Kim of Unity Hospice, along with the entire staff of the Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence at Unity for taking wonderful care of her. Her family also extends their gratitude to Bay East Animal Hospital for the care of Jeanette’s cats.
Visitation will be held at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
