Jim “Rocky” Roskam, 81, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022, after a brief illness.  He was born March 8, 1941, in Green Bay, and remained a lifelong resident.  In a high school classroom, Jim spotted the love of his life, Sandi Campbell, and shortly after, the two began a love affair that lasted over 60 years.  They were married January 16, 1960, and soon welcomed a son, Kim, better known as “Slick”.  Truly a team, the three worked together at the family business, J&S Homes.  Jim and Sandi also owned and operated Yesteryear Antiques for many years.  Sandi preceded Jim in death on New Year’s Eve of 2016.  They are now reunited in heaven.

Rocky had a longtime appreciation for automobiles.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR and pitting with the Muenster Racing Team at local dirt tracks.  He and Sandi enjoyed going for rides in his classic cars and belonged to the Corvette Club.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Gail Roskam, his furbaby Wolf, a cousin, Mary Ann Vander Veld, special neighbors, Dan and Beth Roddan and their children Addison and Owen, and a longtime friend, Mike Hannon.

Friends and family will gather to share memories of Rocky from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St.  A Memorial Fund has been established to benefit Get Toby Home Rescue.  To send online condolences please visit www.prokowall.com.

The Roskam family extends a special thank you to the Suamico Fire Department and County Rescue for assisting Rocky at his home.  Thank you also to Drs.
