Joanie M. Hoffman
Joanie M. Hoffman, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Steve and Frances (Van Lieshout) Heim on April 18, 1941. Joanie grew up on the family farm in Casco, Wisconsin and on January 16, 1960, she married Gary Hoffman at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in her hometown. Joanie was known for her great home cooked meals. She could never bake a decent cookie, but her pies were amazing! Joanie loved her polka music and became a Mark Jirikovec Band groupie.
Joanie will be sadly missed by her husband of 61 years, Gary; daughters, Shelley (Tom) Rahlf, Tracy (Kelly “Bub”) Gerondale; cherished granddaughter, Sophie; and her daughter-in-law, Cathy. She is further survived by her brother Steve (Sally) Heim, sister, Mary (Bob) Leiterman and sister-in-law, Lorraine Heim.
In addition to Joanie’s parents, she was welcomed in heaven by her two sons, Mark and Chris; son-in-law, Mike Mayer; brothers, Norbert and Russ; sisters, Arleen, Ardella, and Kate, as well as numerous cherished family and friends.
Family and friends may call at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 510 Church Ave, Casco, WI, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
