Kenneth Francis Vonckx, 63, peacefully passed away at home on Monday, December 6, 2021. He was born to the late Frank and Vi (DeBouche) Vonckx on December 11, 1957, and graduated from Southwest High School in 1977. Ken enjoyed working at the family business, where he eventually took over ownership of Green Bay Floor Décor. Ken will always be remembered for his zest for life and his great sense of humor. His laugh and personality were contagious and his joking antics would light up any room. Ken could strike up a conversation with anyone and loved to tell stories. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, boat, and hunt. Ken also enjoyed watching Wisconsin sports teams (especially the Packers), tailgating at Lambeau, cross country skiing, family trips to Florida, coffee runs, and driving his new Ram truck wherever the road led him.

Throughout his life, Ken’s greatest passion was his family. He met the love of his life, Debbie Farah, in 2003 and the two were united in marriage on the beach in 2015. Ken and Debbie were inseparable from the moment they met and were often found enjoying their time at the Farah family cottage at Sand Bay, in the water, on the beach, and especially the late-night bonfires, where he taught us how to make the most awesome burgers. Ken took advantage of every opportunity to make cherished memories with his children and grandkids.

Ken will be sadly missed by his wife Debbie; daughters, Amy (Nick) Kozloski, Tara (Ryan) Koenigs, Angela (Matthew) Parkansky, Amanda (Tanner) Wittchow, Alicia (Brandon) Grant; grandchildren, Emma, Logan, and Ava Kozloski, Olivia and Connor Koenigs, Carson Parkansky, Judah and Bodi Grant; siblings, Don (Stephanie) Vonckx and Jean (Paul) Eastman; mother-in-law, Joy Farah; brother and sisters-in-law, Jim (Erin) Farah, Doug (Ann) Farah, Julie (Chuck) Lamine, Jeri (Tim) Paul, Dan (Tamra) Farah and many nieces, nephews, and friends, particularly Bob Leisgang.

In addition to his parents Ken is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Don Farah; sister-in-law, JoBeth Farah; and nephew, Austin Vonckx.

Visitation will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., Green Bay, on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tony De Los Santos officiating. Burial will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy the family asks that the public make contributions in Ken’s honor to the Ashwaubenon Optimist Club.

Due to Covid, the family does ask that any guests attending practice safety protocols by wearing masks.
