She grew up on the family farm in Chase, WI, leaving school after the 8th grade to do the cooking and cleaning along with her sisters. She moved to Green Bay after marrying Frank Predayna in 1948. She worked at Green Bay Foods with Frank until she had children. She became a homemaker until Frank passed away in 1973. She went back to work outside the home, becoming a house cleaner. She then, worked as a maid until she retired at the age of 73. She moved to Minnesota to live with her daughter and son-in-law when health problems wouldn’t allow her to live independently. When her daughter retired, she moved to Illinois with them to be close to her grandson, granddaughter and her four great-grandchildren. In September, her family had to move her to Dimensions Living in Appleton, WI, so she could be close to her son, daughter-in-law and grandson during her final days.
