Luis Alberto Rios Alvarado “Goldo” 28, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, in Green Bay, WI. He was born July 13, 1995, in Ponce, Puerto Rico the son of Angel Rios Martell and Deborah Alvarado Burgos.
Luis loved to play and watch basketball, work on cars, play with electrical wiring, and be with family. He devoted his time to family, friends, and basketball. “Goldo” will be remembered for having a great sense of humor and being kindhearted. He had an infectious smile and had the ability to walk into any room and make people laugh.
Luis survived his parents, Angel and Deborah Rios of Green Bay, WI; brothers, Luis Angel Rios and Anthony Rios of Green Bay; paternal grandmother, Ana Hilda Burgos of Puerto Rico. Luis is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, one niece and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Domingo Alberto Alvarado and paternal grandparents, Domingo Rios and Esmeralda Martell.
“Goldo” will live on in our hearts. Fly high and keep balling!
A visitation for Luis will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for all friends and family. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Luis will be flown home to be buried at his birthplace in Puerto Rico. Services will be held in Puerto Rico for Luis.
