Madison Haley Meyer, age 32, passed away in Minneapolis, MN, on Friday, July 21st, surrounded by loved ones.

Madison was born in Chicago, IL, and grew up in De Pere, WI. Following high school, Madison moved to San Francisco to begin her college education in video editing. In the years to come, Madison graduated from college and worked in Los Angeles, New York City, and Minneapolis. Madison used her artistic talents and strong work-ethic to build a thriving career in video editing and film at various companies.

Madison‘s favorite things included family, film, design, travel, and her cats: Marlowe and Penny. Madison lived life to the fullest, traveling recently to Switzerland, Iceland, Italy, Cancun, Jamaica, and Aruba, as well as multiple US cities. When she moved to Minneapolis last year, Madison spent much of her time exploring the city, trying new restaurants, visiting garden centers, and renovating her niece’s nursery. Madison always had an eye for design, be it home decor, party-planning, or fashion. And no matter the occasion, she was always stylishly and impeccably dressed.

Madison’s personality was best described as passionate, driven, generous, and loving.  An incredible storyteller, Madison was easily able enchant and amuse in her retelling of events and tales. Her family will remember her as being firm in her beliefs and protective of her loved ones.

Madison is survived by her father, David; brother, Daniel; sister, Meade; brother-in-law, Joel; niece, Etta; her partner, Joshua, and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Madison was preceded in death by her mother, Julia, and grandparents, Pat, Jack, Lois, and David.
