Margaret Vaessen
Margaret A. Vaessen, 76, Green Bay, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She was born April 20, 1945, to Leo and Florence (Saharsky) Vaessen. Marge was a dedicated caregiver for both of her parents and remained in the family home her entire life. She enjoyed her employment at St. Vincent Hospital. Marge was a lifelong member of St. John the Evangelist Parish.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Donald Josephs; two sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Maureen Vaessen; 12 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Richard, Don and Roger Vaessen; and a niece Eileen Williams.
Private Entombment will be held at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. A mass in her memory will be held closer to her birthday.
Marge’s family is extremely grateful to her niece Michelle Josephs whose care allowed Marge to remain in her own home, Mike Vaessen for his continued assistance, Bellin Hospital for their compassionate and dignified care during her stay there, and Rev. Brian Belongia for his spiritual care as Marge transitioned to her heavenly home.
