Marian Ruth Huntley
Marian Ruth Huntley, 84, died Saturday, May 21, 2022. She was born December 23, 1937, to the late Lawrence and Gladys Becker. Marian married Jerry R. Huntley on March 24, 1956. They have been residents of Green Bay, WI most of their lives. She enjoyed researching the history of the places they traveled to. One of her favorite destinations was Whidbey Island, Washington. Marian loved fishing and lodging in the Crivitz area. Once retired she learned to play golf. Christmas was the time Marian loved to have family gather where she would always cook a fabulous meal and spoil all with gifts! She had a big heart and would help anyone in need, mostly her children.
She is survived by her husband Jerry; 7 children and 16 grandchildren: Therese Tarkowski, and her son Tony; James Huntley and his sons, Christopher (Abby) and James (Michelle); Mary Wodack and her children, Nicholas, Laura (Jeremy), Kari (Berkley) , Brady and Carley; Catherine Ripp and her children, Alex and Mia; Carolyn (Dan) Rychwalski and their son, Brett; Jennifer Berendsen and her children, Rachel and Cole; Jeanine Rysewyk and her children, Ross, Kate and Reed. She was also blessed with 8 great-grandchildren, and is survived by 2 sisters, Doris Reindl and Barbara Juckem, and a sister-in-law, Sally Wery.
Marian was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Bernard, Roger, James Becker, and 3 sisters, Helen (Russell) Jacobs, Charlotte (Robert) Ferry, and Carolyn Hall.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Wednesday from 4:00 to7:00 p.m. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 140 S. Monroe Avenue, on Thursday from 10:00 to11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Cathedral with the Rev. Brian Belongia officiating.
