Marina Hannon

Marina U. Hannon, 99, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022.  She was born February 18, 1923, in Green Bay to Mose and Laura (Gillis) Spangler.  Marina graduated from Green Bay East High School.  On June 26, 1943, she married Emerson G. Hannon in Jacksonville, Florida while he was on leave with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.  She retired from H.C. Prange Co.   Marina enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, doing word search puzzles and reading.  She treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Tom (Diana) Hannon, Patricia Williams (Elton Husar), and Dan (Teri) Hannon, all of Green Bay; a daughter-in-law, Meredith Hannon, Stanley, NC; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and another one on the way; a sister, Marge Beckman; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson; a son, Ron; her parents; a sister-in-law, Joyce (Don) Krueger and a brother-in-law, John Beckman.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30th at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St.   Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Entombment will be in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
