Mark Tilot

Mark J. Tilot, 62, Green Bay resident, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 17, 2022.  He was born on October 8, 1959, in Green Bay to Donald and Irene (Walus) Tilot.  Mark was a graduate of Preble High School.  He worked in the family business, Tilot Oil, for several years.  Mark had a passion for boats.  He built and repaired them for many years, eventually moving to Florida where he started MJ Tilot Enterprises, Inc. building offshore racing boats.  Mark then moved back to Green Bay and started RT Cable with lifelong friend, Tony Gillis, installing satellite dishes.  He also worked for Creative Custom Homes doing general construction.  Mark loved driving truck and worked with his sister at Hanefeld Trucking.  He loved his classic cars, was a gun enthusiast, he loved his rescue dogs and if he could drive it, he would race it.  Mark was an avid patriot and staunch supporter of all things conservative.  Let’s Go Brandon.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly; children, Nicole (Kyle Laubenstein) Tilot and Jordan (Ryan Koury) Tilot; mother, Irene Tilot; stepchildren, Emma Kosmoski, Michael Kosmoski, Mason Kosmoski and Bryce Kosmoski; siblings, Mary Hanefeld and Jeff (Bette) Tilot; sister-in-law, Debbie Tilot; his fur babies, Marley and Samson; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Dad and best bud, Donald Tilot, Sr.; brother, Donald Tilot, Jr.; brother-in-law, Dave Hanefeld; niece and Goddaughter, Dianne Tilot; and great niece, Hattie Jurey.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Parish wake service 7:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.  Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Mark Vander Steeg officiating.  Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
