Missionary Mary Ann Kimbrough was born March 11, 1957, in Blytheville, Arkansas to Floyd and Ellen Kimbrough.  Mary Ann was the 7th child to be born out of 17.  She graduated from Marion High School in 1977, and later from Harold Washington College.  Mary enjoyed working with Special Education students until retirement.

Mary Ann accepted Christ at an early age and joined Powerhouse Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Ezell Jackson and Bobby Haynes.  She was involved in Church and was a true believer in God.  Mary was a very sweet and kindhearted person, who would give her very last to someone in need.  She loved spending time with her son and grandchildren who she cherished the most.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ellen Kimbrough; two sisters, Floyda and Towanda Kimbrough; and two brothers, Curtis and Cecil Kimbrough.

Mary Ann leaves to cherish her loving memories her ONLY son, Christopher (Nikki); 6 grandchildren, Jayla Lewis, Jaron Lewis, Chrisha Kimbrough, Christopher Kimbrough Jr., Caleb Kimbrough and DeQuan Andrews; a great grandchild, Aubree Jai; five sisters, Lois, Marie, Kay (Darrell), Marilyn (Donell) and Yolanda; seven brothers, Andrew, Robert (Edwina), Harmon, Clifford, Tony, David and Kevin; her favorite niece, Porshia; best friend, Jean; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbors and well-wishers who visited and provided emotional support for us at this difficult time.  It is impossible to thank everyone individually.  Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

The Celebration of Life will be livestreamed through the Proko-Wall Funeral Home Fabook page on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 starting at 10:45 a.m.
