Michael J. Blohowiak, 73, Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born on December 24, 1947, in Green Bay to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Wozniak) Blohowiak. Michael was a graduate of Premontre High School. He worked at Don’s Shoe Service in Green Bay for many years. Michael enjoyed bowling, gardening and spending time at the Oneida Casino. He was a regular attendee of Mass at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Michael was known to many as the “Mayor of Elm Street.”
He is survived by his brother, Ronald L. (Kay) Blohowiak; sister-in-law, JoAnn Blohowiak; godson, Bruce (Theresa) Blohowiak; and many nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Blohowiak.
Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 720 N. Baird St., from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Jose Lopez officiating.
