Michele “Mickie” Kroll
Michele “Mickie” M. Kroll, 64, Denmark resident, passed away on Monday evening, February 14, 2022, after a lengthy illness. She was born on July 8, 1957, in Green Bay to the late Donald and Dawn (Walters) Vander Meulen. Mickie loved sewing projects, yorkies, fancy jewelry and perfume bottles. She was affectionately known to her children and grandchildren as “Cow Grandma”. Her family always looked forward to enjoying her cheesecake and she introduced all of her grandchildren to the wonders of chocolate. Mickie was always up to playing card games with her family, which could get pretty intense. She enjoyed shopping on Amazon and sending confetti card bombs to her family.
She is survived by her loving partner of 30 years, Mick Kroll; children, Paul (Jenny) Peterson, Kyle (Sheena) Knoespel and Nicole (fiancé, John) Kroll; grandchildren, Sireena, Adam, Lydia, Shaelyn, Kiana, Kinsley and Mila; great grandson, Colin; siblings, Kathy Vander Meulen, Andrea (Bruce) Vander Meulen and Daniel (Deb) Vander Meulen; Mick’s family, Susan Yuenger, Butch (Nancy) Kroll, Jerry (Grace) Kroll, Jim (Debbie) Kroll, Bob (Nancy) Kroll, Gail (Bob) Heil, Donna (Mark) Ebeling and Mary (Dave) Kropp; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Mike Knoespel and Dale Kroll; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Austin and Dolores Kroll; and brother-in-law, David Yuenger.
Visitation will be held at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial service 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Deacon Bill Burkel officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com
