Nancy Clara Shepeck, 91, died on Saturday, October 1, 2022, with her family at her side. She was born on March 15, 1931, to the late Louis and Elsie (Kluczykowski) Griese in Racine, WI. On July 29, 1950, Nancy married her sweetheart Donald Shepeck at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Nancy was a nurse’s aide and a telephone operator, but her most passionate role was being a homemaker and caring for family. Though, as busy as she was, Nancy had time for many other hobbies, including, line dancing, bowling, knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed the adventure of family camping trips and was an avid trap shooter. Nancy could tear up the hardwood with her line dancing and of course she made time for Nascar and her beloved Packers. She was also a proud member of the Moose Lodge.

Nancy will be sadly missed by her children, Becky L. (Roy) Anderson, Barb Rentmeester, Michael (Judy) Shepeck, and Ronald Shepeck; grandchildren, Kim Wagner, Kristy Jo Rentmeester, Johnne (Kerri) Anderson, Jason (Nicky) Anderson, Jennifer (Larry) Krosinski, Shane (Jennifer) Shepeck, Evan (Amanda) Shepeck; 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Julaine (Griese) Smith, June Rifleman, and Mary Blowzinski. Nancy is further survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Donald, daughter-in-law Pat Shepeck, great grandson, Paul Wagner; siblings, Jan (Hugo) Cook, Nancy’s twin, Elaine (Llyoyd) Phillips, Bob (Rosie) Sitkowitz, Richard Griese, Louis (Jean) Griese.

Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 5:00 p.m. with Deacon Bill Burkel officiating. Nancy will be entombed at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy the family ask that donations be made to Unity Hospice, 2366 Oakridge Circle, De Pere, WI 54115 in honor of Nancy. The family extends their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Unity Hospice and Grancare Nursing Home along with Nancy’s friends Diane, Howie, Theresa, Al, Linda, Judy and Russ for the friendship, care, and compassion, given to Nancy and her family.
