Nathalie M. “Sis” Balza
Nathalie M. “Sis” Balza, 98, died Monday, June 13, 2022. She was born October 21, 1923, in Green Bay to Joseph and Bertha (Gille) Larscheid.
Nathalie was a graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 1941. On April 23, 1941, she married Firman “Joe” J. Balza at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2018. Nathalie enjoyed camping and traveling. She was a Charter Member of St. Bernard Parish, the St. Bernard Altar Society, and the YMCA.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jeanne (Michael) Lefebvre and Carol Lehto; two granddaughters, Carey Lefebvre and Allyson (Scott) Queoff; two great-granddaughters, Jazmin and Cadence Queoff; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Firman, her parents, three brothers, Kenneth (Rosemarie), Carlton (Phyllis), and Glen (Kathleen).
Friends may call at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, on Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev.
