It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the passing of Nate Nichols.

Nathan P. “Nate” Nichols, 36, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 22, 2023. He was born August 12, 1987, in Green Bay to Lee and Terri (Hodges) Nichols.

Nate was a graduate of Denmark High School, Class of 2006. He later earned several Certifications in CAD, Electronics, and Automation from NWTC.  Nate was a black belt in Karate, a skateboarder, snowboarder and loved camping.  He enjoyed his work as a CAD Designer at KI in Green Bay.  Nate was an avid banjo player and played with many musicians in the area.  He was known for his sense of humor, his kindness, and his dedication and loyalty to family and friends. Nate’s life was filled with joy at the birth of his daughter, Elaine, who he loved beyond measure. He will be sorely missed by so many.

Nate is survived by his daughter, Elaine; his parents, Lee and Terri Nichols; his sister, Holly Nichols (Mike Race); niece, Nora; Elaine’s mom, Krista (Tschurwald) Nichols; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nate will join his grandparents, Nathan and Elaine Hodges, James and Doris Nichols; cousin, Christopher Nichols; and aunt, Carol Hodges, who passed before him.

Special thanks to Jenny Roberts at KI for her kind assistance.

Our family wishes to thank our friends and family for their condolences, comfort and support during this difficult time.

Nate, we will look for you among the stars.
