Norbert D. “Gabe” Siudzinski, 94, Green Bay, resident, died Friday, April 2, 2021. He was born June 4, 1926 in Green Bay to the late Anton and Mary (Walczyk) Siudzinski. Gabe attended Catholic Central High School and was drafted into the Army before he graduated.

He served during WWII, from 1944 until his honorable discharge in 1952. Upon returning home he finished his education and married the former Jacqueline Zilles on June 14, 1952 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on March 6, 2010. After serving in the military, he began a career at Fabry Glove and Mitten, now Saranac, retiring in 1997.

Gabe was a member of the VFW Winiecki Post #9677 and served on their honor guard for many years. He enjoyed bowling and golfing, participating in numerous leagues. He played baseball and looked forward to watching baseball and was known to throw a pretty mean dart ball. He loved his family dearly and treasured the time he spent with them. The getaways to Kelly Lake were always looked forward to. Stories were told and memories were made. Gabe had a strong faith and was a longtime member of St. Philip the Apostle Parish for many years.

He is survived by five children: Jeanine (Mike) Mead, De Pere; Mike Siudzinski; Lynn (Al) Paal; Lori (Jeff) Harrill, all of Green Bay and Dan (Mary) Siudzinski, Denmark; 12 grandchildren: Scott (Liana), Christopher, Shaun (Liz), Sara (Mike), Jason, Bradley, Adam (Ashleigh), Kyle (Jenna), Andrea (Quillan), Casey, Matt and Halie; 24 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five siblings.

Due to the current Covid restrictions a private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Hoffman officiating. Entombment will follow at the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Online condolences may be sent to the Siudzinski family at www.prokowall.com.

Some knew him as Gabe, some knew him as Bud, Norby or Suds, but to us, he will always be dad. We love you.
