Norman L. Maass, 83, New Franken, died on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at a local hospital. He was born in Beaver Dam on Aug. 18, 1937, to the late Arthur and Sylvia (Wagner) Maass. On Aug. 29, 1959, he was married to Betty Tordeur. Norman served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958. He retired from the Brown County Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator. An outdoorsman at heart, Norman loved hunting, fishing and the serenity of nature.
Norman will be deeply missed by his children, Pamela Maass and Randy (Angel) Maass.
In addition to his parents, Norman is preceded in death by his wife, Betty; infant daughter, Kathy; son, Terry Maass; and his brother, Richard Maass.
