Patricia Ihbe, Green Bay, passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 94. She was born on New Year’s Day, 1928, in Wauwatosa to the late David and Laura (Glenzer) Herzer.
Patricia received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She married Gordon Ihbe, a very prominent Green Bay architect, on March 19, 1949, in Chicago. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2006.
She was a teacher most of her life concentrating on home economics and culinary arts. She loved teaching anyone new things about nutrition and food science. Subsequent to her teaching career, Patricia was also a local realtor, garden club member and enthusiast, start-up business owner, and travel guide for bus trips throughout Wisconsin and Michigan. She was a loyal and enthusiastic Packer and Badger fan. Patricia was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church Green Bay.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith (James) Reams and her son, Thomas (Stephanie) Ihbe; four grandchildren and one great grandchild and her brother David (Nell) Herzer.
She was preceded in death by a son, John and a daughter, Gwen.
