Patricia Prevost

Patricia A. Prevost, 91, New Franken resident, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 1, 1932, in Green Bay to the late Henry and Anna (Huel) Brienen. Pat graduated from St. Philip the Apostle Grade School and was a 1951 graduate of St. Joseph Academy. Pat married Raymond Prevost on November 3, 1951, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2021.

Growing up Pat worked at her uncle’s Cloverleaf Grocery, starting at the age of 12, working there through high school. Following high school Pat worked at Dickson Clothing Store, eventually moving to Konop Vending. Pat worked for the Green Bay School Board and ended her working career, retiring from Wisconsin Orthopedics at the age of 51.

Following retirement, she and Ray began travelling. Sometimes they were their own tour guides driving their motorhome and other times they let someone else do the driving going on guided tours. The last ten years their destination was Holtwood Campground in Oconto until health issues wouldn’t allow any more.

She is survived by three children: Keith (Terri) Prevost, Green Bay; Richard (Jean) Prevost New Franken and Debra (Jeffrey) Frawley, Sun City, AZ; daughter-in-law, Barbara Prevost, Green Bay and Steven’s fiancée, Brenda Wilkes, Cable, WI; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren; sister, Mary Thomas, Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Prevost and Steven Prevost Sr.; her brother, Richard (Mary Lou) Brienen; brother-in-law, Robert Thomas and stepsister, Sylvia Brienen.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, July 25. Parish wake service 7:00 pm Tuesday. Visitation will continue on Wedneasday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5996 County Rd K, Champion from 9:30-10:45 am. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Wednesday at the church with Rev. Carlo Villaluz officiating. Entombment in the Nicolet memorial gardens. Online condolences may be sent to Pat’s family at www.prokowall.com.
