He was very involved at the Green Bay Yachting Club the past 20 years and had a special second family there. He also enjoyed working on his boat, woodworking projects in his mancave, camping, hunting, and spending time outdoors.  Patrick was heavily involved in scouting, both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.  For many years Patrick was the Scout Master for troop 1033 in Suamico where he helped many young people attain the rank of Eagle Scout. Patrick also enjoyed the years in the Bay Port Booster Club supporting his children’s athletic activities and was a member of the Holy Name Society, Wisconsin Realtor’s Association, the Home Builder’s Association and many other numerous organizations.
