Perry E. Miller, 85, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021.  He was born October 5, 1935, in Green Bay to Edward and Gladys (Schaut) Miller

Perry was a graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 1954. Starting in high school he served in the Naval Reserves.  For 25 years he worked as a barber; first as owner and operator of his own barber shop, Perry’s Barbershop, and later for Kingsman Barbershop. Perry later worked for the Green Bay Public Schools as a painter and retired in 2000. Perry loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed spending his time doing yard work, hunting, fishing, trap shooting, doing woodwork, and going for Sunday drives. Perry will be remembered for his sense of humor and his big laugh. He was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Parish where he served as an usher.

Perry is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; his children, Michael (Chanin) Miller, Wendy Miller, Holly (Chuck) Panure; his grandchildren, Alex Miller, Hailey (Riley) Sackett, Miaela Miller, Cameron Stevenson, Braxton Panure, and Emma Panure; a great-grandchild, Eiyslee; two special cousins, Karen Greatens, Linda (Gary) Herman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a special aunt and uncle, Grace and Arnold Olson; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edna and Joseph DeGroot.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  A Parish Wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.  Friends may also call at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 650 S. Irwin Street, on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11: 00 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Finian Zucha OFM officiating.
