Peter Earl Beyer, age 90, passed away peacefully at home when he lost his battle to cancer on March 23, 2023. He was born on July 30, 1932, to Edmund and Agnes Beyer in Stiles, Wisconsin.
Peter attended school in Spruce before moving to Sheboygan where he met and married Barbara Wilke on February 10, 1951. Together, they raised three children.
Peter worked at the Vollrath Company for 45 years. There, he worked as a Welder then went onto be a Supervisor in Production and Development. To further his education, he attended many trade and manufacturing schools over the years.
Peter loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Peter and Barbara built a house on White Potato Lake where they spent time before retirement. After retirement, they spent winters in Mesa, Arizona along with vacations in Europe and around the United States. In 2004, they moved to Green Bay to be closer to grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Peter is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Susan Klumb and Daniel (Karen) Beyer; grandchildren, Matthew (Angela) Klumb, Nicole (Jeff) DelMarcelle and Zachary Papendieck; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Sydney and Jace Klumb and Chaz DelMarcelle; siblings, Marcella Meulemans, Jackie Jones, Agnes Karner, Charles (Rosemary) Beyer, Edward (Judy) Beyer and Cathy Erdmann.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Agnes Beyer; a son, John Beyer; son-in-law Ronald Klumb; siblings, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Albert (Doris) Beyer, Edmund Jr. (Janice) Beyer, Joyce (Bernard) VanRoy, Herbie (Judy) Beyer, Art Meulemans, Bill Jones, Bob Karner and Roger Erdmann.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31st from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 120 S. Henry St., Green Bay. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church with Pastor David Hatch officiating.
