Richard D. “Dick” Albright

Richard D. “Dick” Albright, 72, died peacefully Saturday, October 30, 2021, following a courageous battle.  He was born September 18, 1949, in Madison to Allen and Edith (Fettig) Albright.

Dick was a graduate of Preble High School, Class of 1967. He later graduated from UW Green Bay in 1971 and received his MBA from UW Oshkosh in 1976. Dick worked for many years as a merchandise buyer for H.C Prange, Target, E.J. Walker, Shopko, and Walmart. He later sold insurance for Ameriprise Insurance and worked at Home Depot until his retirement. On October 28, 1972, Dick married the love of his life, Audrey Saharsky, at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Family was very important to him. Dick enjoyed spending time with his family at their cottage in Shawano and going on pontoon rides on Shawano Lake. Faith was important to Dick and was dedicated to the church. He loved the Packers, spending his time golfing, and wintering in Arizona.  Dick will be remembered as a generous, hardworking, driven man with a strong work ethic; a loving, affectionate, and emotional person; and a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandpa.

Dick is survived by his wife, Audrey, from Eaton; his daughters, Heather Albright (Clint Eastman), both of De Pere, Amy Jo Albright (Joseph Navarro), both of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Brady Mennen, Brett Mennen, Bryce Mennen, Violet Navarro, Madelyn Navarro, Josephine Navarro, and Hazel Navarro; his sister, Mary (Claire) O’Neil; his brothers, John (Pat) Albright, Mark (Debbie) Albright; his brothers-in-law, Irvin (Sherry) Saharsky, Robert (Rosie) Saharsky; and many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Violet Saharsky; a brother-in-law, Jim Saharsky; a sister-in-law, Janice (Jerry) Matzke.

Friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Mike Ingold officiating. Burial will be in SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Cemetery.
