Richard “Dick” J. Wozniak
Richard “Dick” James Wozniak, 82, passed away at home with his family at his side on June 29, 2022. Richard was born on December 28, 1939, to the late Frank and Clara (Baranczyk) Wozniak on the family farm in Pulaski, WI. He was a graduate of Pulaski High School. Dick worked as a supervisor at Diana Manufacturing for 34 years, retiring in 1996. On July 31, 1992, he married Carol Gilson in Green Bay. Dick was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed attending and watching NASCAR races. He also enjoyed woodworking and spending time in the garden.
Dick will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 30 years, Carol Wozniak; children, Wendy (Jim) Belant, Sue (Steve) Holstead, and Randy Wozniak; grandchildren, Andy Belant, Alex Belant, Mike (Jenell) Holstead, Nick (Cassie) Holstead, Matt (Katelyn) Holstead, and Tyler (Katie) Holstead; along with 12 great grandchildren. He will be further missed by his sister, Colleen Wielgus, sister-in-law, Dolores Wozniak; and 3 brothers-in-law, Tim (Sue) Gilson, Jim Gilson and Mike Gilson; along with many nieces and nephews.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Clara Wozniak; infant daughter, Mary; brother, Ray Wozniak; parents-in-law, Gordon and Bernice Gilson, and sister-in-law Bonnie (Jerry) Schampers; and his beloved dogs, Cuddles and Dega.
