Richard C. Zimonick, 87, passed away at home April 1, 2021. He was born April 21, 1933, to Edward and Bertha (Erdman) Zimonick in Green Bay. Richard wed Jean Demoulin and the couple celebrated 68 years of marriage. As a young man, Richard went into business with his father, eventually taking over Zimonick Brothers Produce and passing it on to his three sons. Richard never officially retired and enjoyed spending time at the store. He was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jean; three sons and a daughter, Carl Zimonick, Susan (Bruce) Tlkens, Steven Zimonick and Randall (Kelly) Zimonick; four grandchildren, Catherine (Jerry) Heiser, Derek Tilkens, Kendall Tilkens, Max Zimonick and Christian Zimonick; three great-grandchildren, Catelyn Heiser, Jeffery Heiser and Clayton Tilkens; a brother, James “Jim” (Yvonne) Zimonick; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Joyce Zimonick; his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elmer and Rena Demoulin; his sisters, Eileen (Lloyd) Krumdick, Marguerite (Frank) Heilmann, Jean (Charles) Webster and Dorothy (Lee) Plinski; a brother, Robert (June) Zimonick and a sister-in-law, Karen L. Pieschek.
