Rita E. Rowell, 93, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020, at a local care facility. She was born July 15, 1927, to the late Wilfred and Josephine (Duquaine) Gonion. Rita married Richard Rowell on April 12, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2006. Rita was a beautician in Green Bay for many years until her health wouldn’t allow anymore. She enjoyed spending time with Dick and her family, and many times could be found in their garden or one of the tee boxes at Woodside Country Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Kay Lemerande (Ben Stone) and Barb (Clarence) Charles, both of Green Bay; grandsons: Brad and Jeff Lemerande and Jason and Kevin Charles; 10 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Myrtle (Marvin) Rentmeester and brother, Albert (Jeanne) Gonion.
