Robert “Bob” Walter Wojtkiewicz Jr., 70, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at home. He was born on January 31, 1952, in Chicago to the late Robert and Alice (Romanczak) Wojtkiewicz. Bob Proudly served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a Military Policeman. He received the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 Device, 1 o/s Bar, and Expert (M-16). Bob assisted with Lieutenant Calley as a personal gaurd towards the end of the war.

Bob will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 48 years, Judy; children, Sherri (Robert) Hennessy, Paul (Denise) Przybylowicz, Robert (Kimberly) Wojtkiewicz, Amanda (Nicholas) Kuspa and daughter-in-law, Monica Wasson; grandchildren Haley (Trae), Cameron, Gabby, Aiden, Brycen, Samantha, Benjamin, Iris, and Owen; great grandchildren, Aubrey and Summer; sisters, Judy (Joe) Mancini, Karen Wojtkiewicz, and Carla Wojtkiewicz-Rhodes and his brother and sister-in-law, Frank (Charlene) Borghese. Bob is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family, friends, and neighbors.

In addition to his parents Bob was preceded in death by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rose Jean (Vito) Melillo and a son-in-law, Woody Pierce.

Visitation for Bob will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Full Military Honors will follow. Bob’s cremated remains will be buried at Union Grove Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy a memorial will be established in Bob’s name.
