Robert J. Horkman, 36, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.  He was born on November 1, 1983 to David and Jean (Leininger) Horkman.  Rob was a 2002 graduate of Preble High School.  He took pride in working for the family-owned business and was affectionately known to everyone as “Repo Rob.”  He was always willing to help family and friends, and was the type of guy who would give you the shirt off his back.  He inherited a knack for telling jokes and stories that typically ended with his distinct and hearty laugh.  Rob loved hunting and was especially excited to harvest his first black bear this past fall.

He is survived by his children, Robbie (age 13), Amelia (age 11), and Hope (age 10); father and mother, David and Jean Horkman; siblings, Amy (David) Bahena,  Krissy Van Hout, Ryan (Sara) Horkman, and James Horkman; nephews and niece, Tony, Nolan, Lucas, Nicolas, Haiden, Kallen, Burken, and Talia; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Loretta Horkman; maternal grandparents, Edwin and Mildred Leininger; aunts and uncles, Linda Danen, Mary Lynn Leininger, Eric Brown, and Joe Horkman; cousins, Scott Danen and Brad Gerbers; and nephew, Wilson Horkman.

The family would like to extend thanks to Rob’s supportive friends Chris and Rachel, Kurt and Jess.

Family and friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Sunday, January 26, 2020, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Private burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established.
