Rodney Anthony Boehm, 88, of Green Bay, succumbed to Dementia on March 10, 2022, under the wonderful care of Unity Hospice at St. Vincent’s Hospital.  Rodney joined Sharon in heaven, his wife of 60 years. Sharon preceded Rodney in death on January 28, 2018.

Rodney enjoyed gardening, woodworking, hunting, fishing, and listening to the Milwaukee Brewers on the radio. He had a strong passion for dogs and had several great companions over many years.  Rodney graduated from Green Bay East High School and served in the US Army but was lucky enough to not see active duty. He worked as a Maintenance Engineer at the US Post Office before retiring in 1990.

Rodney is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Mark) Leiterman and Melanie.

Proko-Wall Funeral Home & Crematory is accommodating the family during this difficult time. The family has requested a private family service to be held at the Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum. Online condolences may be sent to Rodney’s family at www.prokowall.com.

A special thank you to the people at Unity Hospice in Green Bay for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards the wonderful nurses and doctors at St. Vincent’s Hospital – 7th floor. They worked tirelessly to keep Rodney comfortable in his final days. Also, thank you to the Allouez neighbors and the Aging Resources Center that watched over Rodney after Sharon’s passing. In addition, to Son-in-law Mark Leiterman for his support and understanding during family care times.
