Ruth Marto-Mostek, 93, danced her way to heaven on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, with family at her side. She was born on April 8, 1926, in Green Bay, to the late Michael and Mary (Hlinak) Kulhanek. On May 10, 1946, Ruth married Winfred Marto and enjoyed 25 years until his passing in 1971. On April 18, 1975, Ruth married Edward Mostek and shared 39 years together. In her early days she was a professional roller skater spending many hours on the rink. Ruth retired from the Green Bay public school system after 30 plus years in food service. In retirement Ruth enjoyed the cottage up north with family and friends. She was an active member with the VFW Winiecki Post 9677. Ruth enjoyed casino trips, exercising and loved knitting, sewing, and dancing. She was an avid Packer fan and wouldn’t dare to miss a game. Ruth was an excellent baker and loved to cook. Surely, all who knew her will miss her infectious smile and hospitality.

Ruth will be sadly missed by her; children, Larry Marto, Marlene Swette (special friend Clyde), Dorleen (Len) Delveaux, Lynn (Ernie) Laurent; Larry (Tari Longabaugh) Mostek; Wayne (Lori) Mostek; grandchildren, Jenn Swette, Josh (Shannon) Swette, Eric (Suzanne) Laurent, Chad (Kari) Laurent, Stacey Wilson, Kimberly (Adam) Pfotenhauer, Justin (Allie) Mostek, Madison Longabaugh-Mostek; great grandchildren, Mason Swette, Gwen, Paige, Elaine, Naleah and Senya Laurent, MacKenzie and Mason Wilson, Alaina and Ava Pfotenhauer, Nora Mostek; sisters-in-law, Bess Marto, Dorothy Kimps; Mary Jane Verhagen. She is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Winfred and Ed; her son-in-law, John Swette, and her 8 siblings.
