John “Jack” Joseph Capelle

John “Jack” Capelle, 84, passed away on June 9, 2019, with family by his side.  He was born December 1, 1934, in Green Bay, to the late Arthur and Marie (Bresser) Capelle. Jack was married on July 28, 1962 to the love of his life Elaine Vandehey. 

Jack loved to spar with Elaine on many topics including politics and union Issues. He worked for Krueger International (KI) for over 30 Years, working in almost every department in the company.  His strong work ethics allowed him to boast about perfect attendance for many of those years. Jack also loved to go fishing with his children making it a point not to waste any of the fish, by either giving them to the needy or eating them. 

John is survived by his two daughters, Debra (Ray) Cordes and Laura (Dave) Lambert; and one son, William (Jill) Capelle. Jack is also survived by his grandchildren, Travis, Andrew, Christopher, Samantha and Lena Ray; great-grandchildren, Baleigh, Isabella, Savanna, Sonia and Max; and grand puppy, Abbey.  He is further survived by two brothers-in- law, Roger (Mary) Vandehey and John Vandehey.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; granddaughter, Leigha; brothers, Don, Lloyd and Ken Capelle; and brother-in-law, James Vandehey. 

Family and friend may visit Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street on Thursday, June 13, 2019, from 4:00 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 7:00 PM with Robert Nooker officiating. On-line condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com

The family expresses their special thanks for all the prayers, support and cards from friends and family.  Jack was cared for and was able to maintain his residence with the support and assistance from his daughter, Laura and his grandson, Chris who lived with him.
