Audrey Leonowicz

Audrey J. Leonowicz, 84, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at her home.  She was born July 19, 1936, to Thomas and Verna (Reiboldt) Brendemihl.  Audrey graduated from Green Bay East High School and worked as a young woman for Stillers Records and Nau’s Department Store.  On October 19, 1955, she married Robert E. “Bob” Leonowicz.  The two were blessed with three children and the family moved to Dyckesville in 1970. 

Audrey enjoyed painting, gardening, golfing and dog training, specializing in boxers.  She was a gracious hostess and will be remembered for her Packer parties, 4th of July festivities, and holiday get togethers.  She was a member of the Red Hatters and a 4-H leader and a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church. 

She is survived by her three children, Cindy (Dennis) Jones, De Pere; Robert (Cindy) Leonowicz, Green Bay; Linda (John) Rockwell, Geneva, IL; seven granddaughters, Sarah (fiancé, Dr. Ron Williams) Jones, Katie Jones, Tiffany Jones, Margaret (Justin) Batchelor, Kristine (Craig) Sabin, Theresa Rockwell and Rebecca Rockwell; six great-grandchildren, Imogen, Sadie, Lucie, Grace, Philip and Lia; a great-granddaughter, Ivy, due this week; other relatives and friends.

Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert on March 17, 2015; her parents, Thomas and Verna Brendemihl; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Theresa Leonowicz. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S. Madison Ave.  Masks are required and social distancing will be practiced.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev.
