Ann (Aiello) Neumeyer, 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in De Pere, WI on Easter morning April 4, 2021. She was born on June 16, 1926, in Neenah, WI to the late Frank and Anna (Mazzula) Aiello. She married the love of her life, William J. Neumeyer, on July 2, 1946, in Neenah. He preceded her in death December 19, 1993.

She is survived by her children: Judy Radder, William Neumeyer, Jr., Nancy Jo (Rob) Strong, John Neumeyer, Tané (Dave) Van Rite and Sandy Neumeyer; grandchildren: Chrissy (Scott), Tommy, Tony (Amy), Tivi (Paul), KC, Koko (Shane), Brooke, Nicky (Amanda), Holly, Tesia (Brandon), and Colton; great-grandchildren: Britney, Zakk, Reece, Abby, Emma, Allie, Cali, Cole, Ella, Julian, Everett, Giselle, Rory, Joey as well as great-great grandchildren: Lucy, Sully and Annabelle and over 60 nieces and nephews. A special thank you filled with love for surviving sister-in-laws that have been dear friends to this day: Bernadine, Elaine, and Marilyn. Special thank you to Byron Phillips and Bonnie Trisic-Neumeyer for all of their thoughtful phone calls that brightened her days.

Ann was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline Burkart and son-in-law David Radder.

While Ann was physically small in stature, she had a larger-than-life and infectious personality that was memorable to anyone who met her. She had a knack for colorful story telling, often drawing on her Italian ancestry and childhood memories. Ann taught dance at Arthur Murray Dance Studio for many years and loved to show her grandchildren some of her favorite steps and moves. Ann also had a passion for sewing which she learned from her father who worked as a highly-skilled tailor. She was an incredibly generous person and family meant everything to her. She thrived off the energy of having her family around her. Her last several years were spent at home being cared for by family. A special thank you to her son John for being a truly devoted 24/7 caretaker at her home with her.

Ann and husband Bill often hosted family and friends for Packer Sundays and holiday dinners. Grandchildren ran wild throughout the house with music blasting and endless dancing. The poker table was always filled with food, loud excitement and hands banging on the table. Ann and Bill’s house was filled with many signs of love for God. Ann filled all our bellies with homemade Italian meals including spaghetti, meatballs, and insalata. She filled our hearts with laughter and love. A true Italian, Ann always carried prayer cards, a magnifying glass, a bottle of water, Holy Water, casino chips, a roll of toilet paper, a very large sewing scissors and of course a rosary in her purse at all times. She will be remembered by everyone for all of the funny things she did and said. Her memory will be kept alive by family and friends repeating all of her favorite sayings and sassy remarks.

“Mama”, “Grandma”, “Annie” – we miss you more than you will ever know. We always called you when we got home to tell you we made it safely. We can find comfort in knowing you made it home safely with Papa Bill just in time for his birthday. May you enjoy dancing together again with Heaven’s other angels. Mama, we are sending you to Heaven with our love to share with Daddy. Love you both forever: Your Children, Judy, Nancy, Billy, Johnny, and Tané.
