Gerald “Jerry” Pieschek, 75, Town of Eaton, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021. He was born May 7, 1945, in the Town of Eaton to the late Chester and Catherine (Gerstner) Pieschek. He attended SS Cyril and Methodius Grade School and graduated from Denmark High School in 1963. Jerry married Beverly Van Dreel on October 30, 1965, at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in the Town of Eaton.

Jerry was employed at Pauly Cheese until 1988 followed by Kaukauna Cheese and retiring from Milprint in Denmark. Actually, Jerry never really retired. Even when he was employed full time he always had another part time job he was working. It was always important for him to provide for his family, but his family knew every “part time” job was an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends as well. He re-upholstered furniture for many years and enjoyed his International Longshoreman job at Leicht’s north dock. Jerry owned and operated Piesch Mini Storage, LLC and had a vast knowledge of nursery stock and trees which he sold for several years. He was proud of his job at St. Brendan’s Inn where he worked for over 13 years until his health wouldn’t allow. Jerry liked to ice fish and deer hunt in Wisconsin but always looked forward to his hunting trips out west. He established the Chet Pieschek Wildlife Conservancy and took great pride in maintaining the property as well as the family heritage. Jerry had a strong faith and raised his family accordingly. He was a member of SS Cyril and Methodius Parish, Holy Trinity Parish in Pine Grove and currently Prince of Peace Parish.

Like so many things in Jerry’s life that became routine, so were his social stops, Wednesdays and Fridays were for Eddie Whipp’s, Sundays were for brunch at Beverly Gardens and there was always Thursdays at the PLAV Clubhouse for a short one.

He is survived by his wife Beverly and their children: Amy (Dan) Delebreau, Denmark; Sheila (Dennis) Wachowski and Jeremy (Cassie) Pieschek, all of Green Bay; son-in-law, John Koenig, Denmark; five grandchildren: Jacob and Jackson Koenig; Brock and Danielle Delebreau and Derek Wachowski; one sister, Julaine (Dan) Pieschek Schmidt, Green Bay; two brothers, Harold (Julie) Pieschek, Green Bay and Mark Pieschek, Denmark; one sister-in-law, Fran Van Dreel, Hobart; two brothers-in-law, Bernard (Mary Lou) Van Dreel, Mountain and Dr. Richard (Jean) Van Dreel, Monona; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Koenig; a niece, Kerri Ingersoll; brother-in-law, Robert Van Dreel and his in-laws, Henry and Mildred (Herbeck) Van Dreel.
