Stella A. McMonagle, 103, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021.  She was born in Green Bay on April 17, 1918, to the late Charles and Lillian (Longrie) Robinson.  Stella was proud of her long career with the telephone company.  She started out as an operator and eventually worked her way up to a management counselor before retiring 1976.  On May 4, 1985, Stella married William McMonagle at First United Presbyterian Church, sharing 15 beautiful years together before he preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 2000.

Stella enjoyed her time volunteering at St. Mary’s Hospital so much that she ended up taking a part-time position at the hospital.  Stella was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.  Faith and family were most important to Stella.  She remained active in church as long as she could and her passion shined through while caring for her son, Chuck and spoiling her husband, William.

Stella is survived by her nieces and nephews, Diane Kwasny, Mike Robinson, John Robinson and Susan Robinson.  She is further survived by many great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Stella is preceded in death by her son, Charles Minsart and two brothers, Robert (Margaret) Robinson and Joe (Kathryn) Robinson.

Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, with Rev. John Cory officiating the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.

Stella’s family would like to give a special thank you to the staffs of Bishop’s Court and Heartland Hospice particularly Sheeria, Traci, Rachael and “Angel” for their extraordinary care.
