Sue Ann Ireland, 69, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at home with her husband at her side. Sue was born on December 9, 1953, to the late Norwood and Lois (Rotter) Depner. On September 11, 1972, Sue married Craig Ireland in Waukegan, IL.
Sue enjoyed baking, bird watching, and fishing. Though, she truly enjoyed her time with her family whom she loved and adored. Sue was truly the life of the party and always had a profound willingness to tag along with whatever adventures her family took her on.
Sue will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, Craig Ireland; her children, C.J. (Lisa) Ireland, Algoma, WI, Tonya (Fernando) Vera, Beloit, WI, Tim Ireland, Green Bay, WI, and Shawn (Matthew) Ireland, DePere, WI; grandchildren Tequia Camiro, Tyler Ireland, Jose (Guadalupe) Vera, Juliana Vera and Yeneli Vera; great-grandchildren, Alex Perez-Camiro, Aviannah Perez- Camiro, Casian Vera, and Amairany Gonzales; her brother Artie (Debbie) Depner; sisters, Judy Stache, Nancee (Mike) Willemon, Mary (Bruce) Larson, Sharon (Rick) Metzner, Krissy (Paul) Leininger, and Donna (Karl) Depner.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Depner and her brother-in-law, Steve Stache.
A memorial gathering for Sue will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy there will be a memorial established in Sue’s name.
