Susan Kaye

Susan Marie Kaye, 87, died suddenly on Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the comfort of her own home.  She was born July 27, 1935, to Reuben and Suzanne (Roznowski) Piaskowski.  On November 13, 1954, she married Donald Paul Kaye at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, her lifelong parish.  Susan worked for the City of Green Bay for 30 years.  She especially liked catching up on the phone with her loved ones every day.

Susan is survived by four children, JoAnn (Gary) Geyer, Tommy (Jenny) Kaye, Karen (Mike) Zelzer, and Robin (Bill) Lealiou, all of Green Bay; eight grandchildren, Reuben (Tara) Kaye, Katie (Mike) VanVonderen, Sean (Amy) Macrae, Bobbi (Jacquie) Kaye, Harley (Diane) Zelzer, Brandon (Chanda) Zelzer, Jessica Lealiou, and Christopher Lealiou;  14 great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Barb Briggs, Joanie (Byrant) Prentice, Jim Piaskowski, Dorothy Rogers, Lynn (Roger) Shaha, and Mark (Tina) Piaskowski; a sister-in-law, Susan Piaskowski; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald on January 3, 2006; her parents, a brother, Jerry Piaskowski; Donald’s parents as well as his brothers, sisters, and their spouses.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St.  There will be a Parish Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Visitation will continue from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 650 S. Irwin Ave.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Fr. Finian Zaucha OFM officiating.  Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
