Roger “Toby” L. Lemmens, age 74, of Glenmore passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, with his loving family by his side.
The son of George and Lorraine (VandenLangenberg) Lemmens was born May 3, 1949, in Green Bay. Toby married the former Pam Dworak on November 11, 1978.
Toby graduated from Denmark High School with the class of 1967, he was employed by Steves Cheese and after graduation, he attended banking school for 3 years.
Toby served his country for six years in the U.S. Army Reserves and went on to work at Denmark State Bank for 38 years in which he was hired as a teller, spent 12 years on the board of directors and 18 years as Vice President at the Maribel Branch. During this time, he also ran his own businesses Lemmens Seal Coating and later on Lemmens Lawn Care, LLC and he was a proud member of the Maribel Lions Club for 7 years. After retirement, he worked for 5 years at Menards stocking shelves and helping people find what they were looking for.
Toby enjoyed playing ball for many years, hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family.
Toby is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years, Pam; children Heidi (Isaiah) Reuter of Denmark, Jill (Kyle) Kapinos of Kellnersville, Jason (Tina) Lemmens of De Pere and Michelle (Pete) Wallerius of Denmark; 15 grandchildren; his brother, Ken Lemmens; sister-in-law Jane Lemmens; mother-in-law Kathleen Dworak, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeff (Sharon) Dworak, Donna (Mike) Faulds, Judy (Bud) Hoffman, Tom (Colleen) Dworak, Art (Patti) Dworak, Kay (Larry) Loppnow, Roseanne Dworak; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Lorraine Lemmens; father-in-law, Bernard Dworak; brother, Darrell Lemmens and his niece and Godchild, Alison Lemmens.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Due to construction, enter on Cass St. Visitation will continue from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Glenmore, 5840 Big Apple Road.
