Victoria “Vicky” (Georgia) Greve

Victoria “Vicky” (Georgia) Greve, 64, of Green Bay, WI passed away unexpectedly as a result of injuries suffered in a snowmobiling accident in the Breen Township of Michigan on Friday February 25, 2022. Vicky was born on September 26, 1957, to the late Wallace & Elizabeth “Betty” (DeKeyser) Georgia.  She was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Vicky attended grade school at Saint Peter & Paul in Green Bay WI.  She graduated from Green Bay Preble high school and attended dietitian school at NWTC.  Vicky carried on a family tradition of military service by serving in the United States Army. Vicky married her current husband of 26 years John Greve on Oct 31, 1995. 

Vicky enjoyed gardening, especially her hostas. Vicky was a supporter and enthusiast of any local racing activity especially when her son Scott Johnson and nephew Ryan Georgia amongst many other friends were racing. You would typically find her at 141 Speedway and The Burg in Luxemburg, WI when they were conducting any racing event.  Vicky was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Brewers.  She enjoyed spending time with family, including her newest grandson, Cole Johnson.  In retirement she enjoyed traveling the United States, especially any beach she was sitting on preferably in Pensacola, FL with her special nephew Alexander (Victoria) Renn and their lovable children.  A lifetime Caregiver, she was a special caregiver/companion to her mother and father-in-law as well as Uncle Ronnie Giese. Vicky was a second mom to many others.  She had a gift to gab. Vicky made friends with everyone she encountered; many for life.  Her infectious smile and laugh will be missed by all who ever met her.

Vicky will be sadly missed by her sons, Scott (Kaitlyn) Johnson, Jason; her husband, John Greve; six grandchildren, Cole, Annabel, Jaxson, Lily, Aubree, Mia; younger sister, Theresa (Laura) Georgia, Milwaukee, WI; five brothers, Richard “Ricky” Georgia, Crivitz, WI, William “Bill” Georgia, Green Bay, WI, Lester (Karen) Georgia Crivitz, WI,  Patrick (Jackie) Georgia Howard Suamico, WI, Paul (Nicole) Georgia, Sevastopol, WI;  52 foster brothers and sisters including special foster brother, Bernard (Sandra Metoxen) Hawpetoss;  in-laws, Suzi (Mike) Brooks-Balskus, Heidi (Steve) Gillis; stepchildren,  Andrew (Heather), Jessica (Chris), and Matthew (Leigha); mother-in-law, Doris Greve; uncle, Ronald Giese; several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and many other family members, racing family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Josephine “Josie” DeKeyser; paternal grandparents, Walter and Ida (Cumber) Georgia, uncles, James “JIM” Dekeyser, Dale Delahaut, and Milo Georgia; aunts, Harriet (Paul) Evraets, Carol (Roy) Barth, and Pat (Richard) Becks; former husband, James Johnson; father-in-law, Roger Greve, nephew, Adam Lardinois.

Visitation will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Carlo Villaluz officiating.
