William A. “Bill” Tess
William A. “Bill” Tess, 74, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was born June 3, 1947, in Kewaunee to Gerald and Viola (Konop) Tess.
Bill was a graduate of Premontre High School, Class of 1965. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and was stationed in Okinawa. Following his time in the service he graduated from UW Green Bay with a degree in business. Bill had a long career in sales working for Regal Ware, Fort Howard Paper, Kubiak Pools, Benson Pump, and Valley Chemical, retiring in 2006. Bill enjoyed the outdoors spending his time gardening, fishing, hunting, traveling, and vacationing. Family was very important to Bill, and he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Stacey (Ethan) Kroll, Ben (Kara) Tess, and Nina (Matt) Corya; a daughter-in-law Renee Pearson; his grandchildren, Mitchell Kroll, Morgan Kroll, William Tess, Grace Corya, Caroline Corya, Molly Corya, Maddox Corya, Connor Pearson and Myah Pearson; his brother, Jerry (Charlene) Tess; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Matthew Pearson; his brothers, Dick Tess and John “JT” Tess; his sister, Jeanne Kubiak; and his first wife, Mary Tess.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Sharing of Memories will begin at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
