Linda Sue (Polerecky) Bartels, 75, passed away March 11, 2022. She was born July 10, 1946, to Ludevit and Isabelle M. (Johnson) Polerecky in Oak Park, Illinois. Linda graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in 1964 and Ippolitos Beauty School in 1966.
On June 17, 1967, she married Paul A. Bartels at St. Mary of the Annunciation Freemont Center in Mundelein, Illinois. The union was blessed with four children and ten grandchildren. Linda and Paul attended Prince of Peace Parish in Green Bay.
Survivors include her husband Paul, three daughters and one son, Margaret “Peggy” Bartels, Green Bay; Susan (Bruce) Rivard, Manitowoc; Mark Bartels, Pasco, WA; Mary (Eric) Schneider, Hilbert; her grandchildren, Anna LaBreche, Katie LaBreche, Casandra (Michael) Byrns, Lindsey Rivard, Wyatt Bartels, MaKenna Bartels, Kiera Bartels, Cole Schneider and Maxwell Schneider; one brother and three sisters-in-law, Robert and Susie Polerecky, Marlene Polerecky and Denise Polerecky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Harry and Ludevit Polerecky and a sister, Joan Pofelski.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Mundelein, Illinois. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Church Cemetery.
