Sarah Elizabeth Lotto, 43, Lakewood, Colorado, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, died Saturday, September 5, 2020, as a result of a bicycling accident in Lakewood. She was born November 14, 1976, in Green Bay to Bernard “Bernie” and Janet (Steeno) Lotto. Sarah attended Denmark Elementary School and graduated from Denmark High School in 1995, as a co-valedictorian. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, graduating in 1999, with an Electrical Engineering degree.

Her career began right out of college with employment for General Electric in Waukesha. Shortly after accepting that position she continued her career with a move to Colorado which is where she made her home. Sarah was highly regarded in her field and in 2006 took a position with Avnet. In 2011 she began employment at Symantec until 2019, when she moved her career to Broadcom where she was currently employed.

Sarah was a dedicated and caring mother and always an upbeat, positive friend to many. She was known as a bright, kind, beautiful soul. She “lived” Colorado, taking in all it had to offer and then some. She enjoyed the cities, seasons and the adventure of the mountains and forests while always sharing love and appreciation for her Wisconsin roots, including catching chickens on the family farm and her love for the Packers.  Sarah was a member of Ethos Gym excelling in Cross-Training where she achieved and surpassed many of her personal fitness goals. It is hard to imagine someone so full of life, could have hers taken away too soon. Sarah’s legacy will be her impact on the many people she touched throughout her life.

Sarah is survived by her two sons, Evan and Braden Walls, Lakewood, CO; her parents, Bernie and Janet Lotto, Ledgeview; three brothers and their families: Kevin (Marie) Lotto, Beaver Dam and their children, Reid and Drew; Geoffrey (Amanda) Lotto , Denmark and their daughter, Aubrey; Phillip (Laura) Lotto, Algoma and their children, Elliott, Gertrude and Gwenivere. She is further survived by her maternal grandfather, Milton Steeno, Howard and a dear beloved friend, Lucio Santucci, Montreal, Canada; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and the children’s father, Richard “Tony” Walls.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Myron and Margaret (Hutjens) Lotto and her maternal grandmother, Doris (Geyer) Steeno.
