Alexis “Alex” Mendoza, 23, of Green Bay died unexpectedly Saturday, April 6, 2024. He was born October 27, 2000, in Green Bay to Daniel Mendoza and María Araceli Lopez Chavez.
Alex attended Sullivan Elementary School, Washington Middle School, and was a graduate of Preble High School, Class of 2019. He worked as a welder for Fincantieri Ace Marine. Alex was someone who was always happy and had a smile on his face. Going to parties, having a passion for cars, playing soccer, traveling especially to Mexico, listening to music, and dancing were some of the things he loved to do. Most importantly, Alex loved his family, spending time with them, and will be remembered as a loving son, brother, and friend to many.
Alex is survived by his parents; a sister, Yuliana Mendoza Lopez (Eliazar Cortez); and many other family members and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ismael Mendoza and Maria Del Carmen Chavez Raya.
Family and friends may attend Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Friday, April 12th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Parish Wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Family and friends may also attend St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams Street, on Saturday, April 13th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Andrew Cribben O. Pream officiating. Burial will follow Mass in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers other expressions of sympathy are appreciated. Online condolences may be given at www.prokowall.com.

Alexis “Alex” Mendoza, de 23 años, de Green Bay, murió inesperadamente el sábado 6 de abril de 2024. Nació el 27 de Octob del 2000 en Green Bay, hijo de Daniel Mendoza y María Araceli López Chávez.
Alex asistió a la Escuela Primaria Sullivan, a la Escuela Secundaria Washington y se graduó de la Escuela Preparatoria Preble, Clase de 2019. Trabajó como soldador para Fincantieri Ace Marine. Alex era alguien que siempre estaba feliz, y siempre tenía una sonrisa en la cara. Le gustaba ir a fiestas, tenia pasión por los autos, jugar fútbol, ir de viaje, especialmente ir a México, escuchar música y bailar eran algunas de las muchas cosas que le gustaban hacer. Lo más importante es que Alex amaba a su familia, pasaba tiempo con ellos y será recordado como un hijo, hermano y amigo amoroso para muchos..
A Alex le sobreviven sus padres; una hermana, Yuliana Mendoza López (Eliazar Cortez); y muchos otros miembros de la familia y buenos amigos.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus abuelos, Ismael Mendoza y Carmen Chávez Raya.
Familiares y amigos pueden atender a la funeraria Proko-Wall, 1630 E. Mason Street, el viernes 12 de abril de 4:00 a 8:00 p.m. Un velorio parroquial se llevará a cabo a las 7:30 p.m. el viernes. Los familiares y amigos también pueden atender a la Iglesia Católica St. Willebrord, 209 S. Adams Street, el sábado 13 de abril de 9:00 a 11:00 a.m. La Misa de Entierro Católico se celebrará a las 11:00 a.m. El sábado en la iglesia con el Rdo. Andrew Cribben O. Pream oficiando.
