Barbara “Barb” T. Cecchi, 77, Green Bay, beloved wife and mother was called to her eternal resting place on Sunday, February 11, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born August 26, 1946, in Shawano, WI to the late Alexander and Helen (Kleckner) Buss, and grew up in Red Springs near Gresham, WI.

Barb was a graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 1964. On May 14, 1966, she married Ronald Cecchi at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay. Barb worked for AT & T as a switchboard operator. After taking care of her children, she went back to school to study accounting and worked as a tax accountant for H & R Block. Barb will be remembered for her faith, love and joy for her family and friends, her stories about her time she spent with her parents, brothers and sisters, going fishing with her dad, sundae ice cream treats after church, and the jokes and pranks.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Ron; her children, Ron (Wendy) Cecchi, Tina (Kevin) Berg, and Steven Cecchi; her grandchildren, Christopher (Katie) Cecchi, Kyle Cecchi (fiancé Malia), Adam Cecchi, Andrew Cecchi, and Ryan Cecchi; a special nephew, Lyle Buss; her brothers-in-law, Dave Warden, Carl Matz, Almondo Cecchi, Jr., and Anthony Cecchi; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Grace Cecchi; sisters and brothers, Helen (Raymond) Krueger, Dorothy (James) Klitzka, Robert (Cheyenne) Buss, Irene (Edward) Baker, Elizabeth Buss, Henry (Claudia) Buss, Kenneth (Phyllis) Buss, Ella Matz, Rosemary Warden, three infant siblings, and a special nephew, Daniel Buss, Sr.

Friends may call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division Street, on Saturday February 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Tony De Los Santos officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. On-line condolences may be given at www.prokowall.com.

Barb’s family extends their thanks to the caring staff of Marla Vista Assisted Living and Memory Care, Unity Hospice, and Bellin Hospitals’ First Floor for the care they gave to Barb.
