Brandon Lee De Grand, 35, died unexpectedly Monday, June 17, 2019, at home. He was born February 21, 1984, to Steven and Barbara (Mohr) De Grand. As a man who was good working with his hands, Brandon liked his job with Pool Works in the maintenance department. He was a true outdoorsman, and a talented hunter and fisherman. In his free time Brandon enjoyed cooking out on the grill, spending evenings around the campfire, having a cold beer and listening to music, especially country. More than anything, Brandon loved spending time with his children.
He is survived by four children, Madison, Nevaeh, Nathan and Kaleb; his parents, Steve De Grand and Barb De Grand; his brothers and a sister, Chad De Grand, Cory (Stephanie) De Grand and Mindy (Shaun) Chaudoir; a grandmother, Esther DeGrand; aunts and uncles, Karen and Russ Burich, Debra Hoslet, Mark and Kathie De Grand, Jeffrey DeGrand and Craig and Merrie De Grand; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Dorothy Mohr; paternal grandfather, Arnold DeGrand; a sister-in-law, Erin De Grand; uncles, Jon DeGrand, Russell Mohr and Carey Hoslet.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Funeral Services will be held at noon Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. To send online condolences, visit www.prokowall.com.
