Dora Jo Bomber, 71, New Franken, died at her home on Friday, March 29, 2024. She was born on January 22, 1953, in Antigo, WI to the late Joseph and Barbara (Kennig) Suess. Dora graduated from Preble High School in 1970. She married Paul Bomber on May 21, 1984, in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2018.
Dora was employed at Packerland Packing for many years in the quality control department, finishing her working career at RR Donnelley Company. Dora was a longtime volunteer for ADRC in Green Bay. She had a passion for flower gardening giving her Hostas special attention. Dora also liked a good book, putting puzzles together and enjoying the outdoors. She and Paul always enjoyed fishing together. Her pride and joy were her family, and she especially cherished all the time spent with her grandchildren.
Dora is survived by three children: Jeff (Debbie) Bukouricz; Debra McLean and Keith (Nicki) Bukouricz; grandchildren: Brandi, Jensen, Hailey, Jordan, Chase and Kahlen; sisters: Dorothy (David) Zorzin; Linda Swagel and Brenda (Mike) Skinkis; her brother, Greg (Debbie) Suess; in-laws: Jeff (Barb) Bomber; Peggy (Jim) Weihbrecht; Mike (Barb) Bomber and Steve (Becky) Bomber, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her in-laws, James and Patricia (Coel) Bomber.
