Doris Mae Kozlowski, 69, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, after a battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was born on June 12, 1952, in Green Bay to the late Thomas and Hilda (Friedman) Kozlowski. Doris was a graduate of Oconto High School and then attended beauty school. She worked for more than 48 years as a hairdresser and her loyal clients were like family. Doris was a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews and treated them as her own. She had a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
She is survived by her siblings, Joyce LaViolette, Thomas Kozlowski, Susan (Mike) Roulette, Sandra (Charlie) Brzoznowski and Patricia (Richard) Groeschel; sister-in-law, Renee Kozlowski, special nieces, Nicole (Tom) Selissen and Amanda (Billy) Haase; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Kozlowski; brothers-in-law, Jerry LaViolette and Robin Campbell; sister-in-law, Cathy Kozlowski.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St., from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorial Mass 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church with Rev. Bill Hoffman officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
