Doris May (Demuth) Hamann, 61, entered the gates of Heaven on April 11, 2021.  Doris was born in Green Bay on August 9, 1959, to the late Robert Sr. and Mary Ann (Brice) Demuth. On June 29, 1985, she married the love of her life, James Hamann. They were married for twenty-seven years before his passing in 2012.

Doris worked at Patient Pines in Green Bay as the lead CNA and lovingly cared for residents and their families. She treasured her family and the time she spent with them always looking forward to the next adventure, especially if it was to someplace warm.  Her smile and laughter was infectious and she always saw the best in every situation. Doris lived her faith by being unassuming, giving, selfless, strong, courageous, honest, non-judgemental and forgiving-a true Christian example. Doris touched many lives through her professional, her personal life, and by both of them she left very special memories and loving kindness that will be forever stamped on their hearts.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Eric) Turner; grandchildren, Willie Turner (Sarah), Amanda (Josh) Ellie, Austin Turner; great grandchildren, Orion, Adrien, Quinn, and Maya; a brother, Mike (Tammy) Demuth, and their children Cody Demuth, Logan Demuth, and Luke Demuth; a sister, Mary (Jerry) Andrews; and her puppies “Molly” and “Lulu”.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Demuth Jr., and a sister, Susan Demuth.

Doris’ family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Critical Care Unit of St. Vincent Hospital of Green Bay for the care and comfort they provided her in her final days.

A memorial event will be held at a later date to celebrate Doris’ life. On-line condolences may be given at www.prokowall.com
